Overview

Promosome develops technologies that target the translation component of protein synthesis, including Translational Enhancing Elements (TEEs) and Reengineering of the Primary mRNA Structure (RESCUE). The company intends to use its recent funding to advance and commercialize TEEs and RESCUE, which enable enhanced protein expression across a variety of bioproduction platforms. The company has established a developmental laboratory facility at TSRI in La Jolla and closed a Research Funding and Option Agreement with TSRI and the laboratories of Edelman and Mauro. Promosome has also established a technology license and equity relationship with Recopharma AB of Stockholm, Sweden. It is advancing additional partnering and evaluation relationships with contract manufacturers, biopharmaceutical and industrial bioproduction companies.
