Overview

ProoV operates a platform that is part app store and part PoC service engine, enabling enterprises to connect with and run proofs of concept with vetted startups. The platform supports roughly 1,000 approved startups and the company reports 125 enterprise customers, including GE, Amazon Web Services and AIG. ProoV’s data is structured to mirror customers’ datasets so enterprises can test without using live customer data, helping address regulatory and resource constraints. The company generates revenue from startup listing fees but says the majority of revenue comes from enterprise subscription fees plus per‑proof charges; it is experimenting with subscription and usage pricing mixes. ProoV has 37 employees and an R&D arm based in Israel. The company has raised $21.1 million to date and plans to use the new capital to open a New York City office and hire 15 salespeople to drive growth. prooV is a Pilot-as-a-Service platform that consolidates and optimizes the Proof of Concept (PoC) ecosystem. It enables global enterprises to discover, connect and engage with independent software vendors (ISVs) to run and evaluate multiple PoCs through remote, secure testing environments. The company was founded in 2015 by CEO Toby Olshanetsky and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. prooV raised $7m in Series A funding, with backers including Mangrove Capital Partners and OurCrowd. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.
