ProovStation is an industrial deeptech startup that builds the first automobile scanners that fully automate inspection and valuation of used vehicles in three seconds. Its stations, built in France, use a cutting-edge optronic system and NVIDIA-based AI to capture more than 300 photos during a 360° scan, identify defects with millimetre precision, and automatically generate exhaustive, quantified inspection reports. The scanners can handle several hundred vehicles per day, converting a previously manual, subjective 30-minute process into industrial-scale throughput. The company has about 50 employees and more than 130 stations under deployment across 13 countries on three continents, with around 30 additional deployments planned in France for 2023. Through partnerships with Carrefour, Michelin (with MICHELIN Quickscan®) and BCA Group, ProovStation offers free self-service scanners in Carrefour parking lots and can provide instantaneous firm offers guaranteed by BCA Group. The recent €10.4M funding will be used to densify its scanner network in France and accelerate international expansion toward used-vehicle professionals.
