ProSky offers a hiring solution where applicants can take training or skip it, then participate in three-week company projects to demonstrate role readiness while staying in contact with the project manager via chat. The company charges a small fee for training and offers up to $150 back to applicants who get hired. ProSky says 76 percent of job seekers who complete the process get hired. Many applicants come from partnered prestigious universities, and the company plans to expand partnerships to state universities and two-year colleges. CEO Crystal Huang said the startup intends to use additional funding to further develop the product and invest in marketing. The company is based in San Francisco and is exploring a potential $20 million Series A.
