Prospera Technologies

14 Tuval St, Tel Aviv, 6997801, Israel

Overview

Prospera develops AI and computer-vision tools that analyze data gathered from fields to guide farmers. Its core product detects pests and diseases and has expanded to support agronomy, operations, and labor management across farm production. Since its Series A the company has added customers in Europe, Mexico, and the U.S., and now claims thousands of users, including produce growers for Walmart, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Aldi. Prospera plans to broaden its services to cover more crops and make a key shift from indoor farms to outdoor farms. The new capital will also be used to enter more global markets and add people to delivery and customer-facing teams. Total funding now stands at $22 million. Prospera builds hardware and cloud software that combine a proximal RGB camera with temperature, humidity and light sensors to observe crops in greenhouses and fields. Its machine-learning models analyze that data to alert farmers when notable events—such as early disease onset—are occurring, rather than producing infrequent or overwhelming reports. The device is solar-powered and designed to support vertical/indoor farms as well as outdoor operations. Prospera’s customers include major retailers and growers, with deployments especially in Spain and Mexico and clients such as Walmart, Tesco, Sainsburys and Aldi. With new funding the company plans a hardware redesign in partnership with a design services firm and to expand from European greenhouses into row crops, vineyards and potential markets like legal cannabis in the U.S. The company competes with firms such as PrecisionHawk (partnered with DJI) and Arable.
