ProTip develops a permanent implant, the ENTegral device, to replace the larynx in patients who have undergone total laryngectomy. The company intends ENTegral to serve as a permanent solution for laryngectomized patients. ProTip plans to use recent funding to complete the first human clinical trial of ENTegral and to launch wider trials aimed at bringing the implant to market. ProTip was founded in 2004 and is based in Strasbourg, France, and is led by CEO Maurice Berenger.
