Proxio is a Santa Clara, CA-based international multiple listing service and global real estate network that provides a cloud-based platform for real estate professionals. Led by CEO and co-founder Janet Case, the platform leverages social networking to help professionals connect, network, manage and market listings securely across global markets. The platform instantaneously translates languages, converts measurements and currencies, and displays culturally appropriate data formats. Customers include Keller Williams Worldwide, the Asian Real Estate Association of America, Secovi-SP in Brazil, the National Association of Realtors India, and ORPI, the largest French brokerage. In December 2013 Proxio raised $4 million in a Series A financing; backers included the Women’s Venture Capital Fund, which took a seat on Proxio’s board of directors. The Series A financing was announced on 12/03/2013.
