Pruna AI provides a platform that integrates with companies’ existing AI systems to simplify code and streamline deep learning models. The product applies compression techniques including pruning, quantization, compilation and caching to reduce model size and improve efficiency across hardware setups. The company says compressed models can cut compute, energy use and carbon emissions by up to 91%. Pruna will use the $6.5M seed to expand its technical team to a full staff of machine learning research engineers and to hire operations and go‑to‑market specialists; its team has already tripled in size. The capital is intended to scale and expedite the product launch and commercial efforts. Investors pointed to Pruna’s Munich–Paris ecosystem as a commercial foothold and talent advantage.
