Kini provides on-demand payroll and earned wage access that gives employees immediate access to cash, bill-pay services, and features such as micro insurance. The platform also offers employer tools including instant disbursement of incentives or allowances, discount vouchers, communications, payroll services, and API integration with HRIS and time-tracking systems. Kini targets underbanked blue-collar workers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia and was founded by Jordan Fain and Sidnei Budiman in 2021. The company says it will use its new funding to continue building out its HR‑Fintech product suite and to expand enterprise partnerships and HR tech provider integrations through a single API. Since launch less than a year ago, Kini has averaged 70% monthly growth and now serves more than 50 corporations, including ISMAYA GROUP, Asaba, and Doku. The ten-person team will use the seed proceeds to scale product, partnerships, and customer integrations while advancing financial-inclusion goals for workers who live paycheck to paycheck.
