Pulpe de Vie
26 rue Grignan, Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, 13001, France
Overview
Pulpe de Vie produces certified Cosmos Organic cosmetics using declassified, locally sourced fruits and vegetables collected from a network of about 20 Provençal producers and transformed into hydrolats, macérats and extracts. Formulation and finishing work take place across Provence, Brittany and the Paris region, with natural perfumery sourced in Allauch. The brand offers roughly 40 references (creams, serums, cleansers, toothpaste, deodorants, shampoos) priced between €3.98 and €12.90, and donates 1% of online sales to an apiculture charity. In 2022 Pulpe de Vie reported nearly €3.0M in revenue with only seven employees and achieved more than 80% online growth between 2019 and 2022. The company sells both in selective organic retailers and in major grocery chains (Intermarché, Carrefour, Lidl) and plans to balance sales 50/50 between large retailers and online/export. Pulpe de Vie intends to triple its growth by 2026, recruit 13 additional staff (mostly commercial hires), strengthen a multichannel digital strategy and expand in Europe. It is also undertaking a product relaunch toward larger, 100% recycled-recyclable and refillable formats and pursuing a five-year regenerative/carbon-neutral roadmap as part of an ecological transition plan.
