PupPod provides a platform and smart toys for dogs that leverage software to create games based on positive reinforcement. Its Wobbler game uses lights, sounds and timing; when a dog touches the wobbler at the correct time they earn food rewards from a Bluetooth feeder and the game escalates difficulty via the mobile app. The mobile app lets pet parents set game difficulty and provides insights on how their dog is learning and on calorie consumption. PupPod closed a $772K seed round led by Dr. Roger Mugford and will use the funds to continue developing products and its platform for canine enrichment and pet parent engagement.
