Puralink, founded by Harrison Crowe-Maxwell, Shyeon Delnawaz and Long Tran, develops 40 cm-long, 150 mm-thick autonomous robots nicknamed “ferrets” that navigate complex pipe networks to identify leaks. Using onboard HD CCTV, LiDAR and mapping sensors, each robot can negotiate corners, intersections and vertical stacks and travel up to one kilometre per run, producing detailed location and condition reports for operators. The system targets wastewater, storm-water, energy and mining infrastructure where traditional inspection methods are slow or impossible. The company is currently accepting pre-orders for its first commercial units, positioning itself for early revenue once manufacturing scales. Puralink participated in Cicada’s Fast Start program and the Startmate Accelerator, which helped refine its product and go-to-market strategy. Financially, the startup has raised a total of about $2.45 million to date, including a recent $2.3 million pre-seed round and an earlier $150,000 angel cheque in 2025, giving it capital to continue R&D and pilot deployments.
