Purity Brewing Co produces a range of international beers, including Pure Gold, Pure UBU, Mad Goose, Lawless Lager and Longhorn IPA, from its brewery in Great Alne, Warwickshire. The business was founded in 2005 by Paul Halsey and Jim Minkin and was named The Good Pub Guide’s Brewery of the Year in 2018. Purity operates a 90,000 hectolitres brewery and has built a national network of customers, with a quarter of sales going to Midlands-based independent free trade pubs. The company emphasizes sustainable brewing, using heat-and-steam technology to reduce energy consumption, a natural wetland system to cleanse waste water, and spent hops as fertiliser on the local farm. Purity plans to use new funding to expand across the UK, grow export sales and develop new products. The core product remains high-quality beer sold through its national customer network and export channels.
