Founded in 2023 in Schwäbisch Hall by Dr.-Ing. Daniel Jarr, Maximilian Mack and Matthias Nagel, pyck is developing what it claims to be the first open-source toolkit purpose-built for AI-driven warehouse logistics. The modular software allows logistics providers and e-commerce companies to tailor processes and integrate new technologies far more easily than with traditional, monolithic WMS products. According to the founders, customers can implement warehouse processes up to 60 % faster and at lower cost compared with conventional systems. Just one year after market launch, three large logistics enterprises are already rolling out the solution. The company intends to broaden its product by releasing a tool for user-friendly data-type management and by making it easier to plug in additional technologies and partners.
