Overview
Qilin Protocol is a decentralized volatility protocol based in Beijing, China. It aims to equip the crypto market with the ability to long any asset's volatility and to build permission-free on-chain reverse and forward contracts for altcoins. Core features include Rebase Share to reduce liquidity provider risk, an elastic liquidity supply range, and a comprehensive liquidation engine. After two months of public testing, Qilin V1 is scheduled to launch on the Ethereum mainnet within a week. The recent funding will be used to develop Qilin V2, which plans permissionless liquidity pools, permissionless altcoin reverse contract trading, a reward mechanism for Rebase operators, a Uniswap-based oracle, a price-shifting mechanism, trading experience upgrades, and expanded wallet support. Qilin positions its technical innovation around on-chain risk control and dynamic liquidity supply for altcoins.
