Qmerit
2 Venture, Suite 550, Irvine, CA, 92618, United States
Overview
Qmerit installs electric vehicle charging stations in residential and fleet environments across North America. The company says it has facilitated installations of "tens of thousands" of EV charging stations. Qmerit spun out of ABM in 2016 and is led by Chairman and CEO Tracy K. Price. In July 2021 Qmerit scored an investment from GIC to support its EV charging efforts. That investment came alongside participation from earlier investors Lime Rock New Energy and Schneider Electric. The size and instrument of the investment were not disclosed; GIC will gain a seat on Qmerit's board of directors. Qmerit provides a cloud-based workforce management platform for building owners, property managers, OEMs and contractors that aims to reduce labor and material costs and improve service quality. The platform enables companies to vet, onboard, manage and objectively measure contractors through a proprietary Qmerit Contribution Index (QCI). The QCI is continuously calculated for each contractor based on quality, responsiveness, compliance, customer ratings and other factors. Led by Chairman, Founder and CEO Tracy K. Price, Qmerit intends to use new funding to expand its sales efforts and accelerate product development. The company raised $11.75M in its first venture capital financing. In conjunction with the funding, Strandview and Schneider Electric each placed representatives on Qmerit’s board.
