Qobuz operates a Hi-Res music streaming and download platform offering exclusive editorial content curated by a team of experts. The service hosts a catalog of more than 60 million titles and is accessible in 12 countries, including the US (launched there in 2019) and several European markets. Founded in 2007 and led by Chairman and CEO Denis Thébaud, the company serves audiophiles and music lovers with both streaming and download options. In September 2020 Qobuz raised €10m to support its next phase of growth. The company intends to use the funds to expand internationally, strengthen its managerial organization, and launch a substantial recruitment plan. As part of that organizational strengthening, Qobuz appointed Georges Fornay as Deputy CEO, Céline Gallon as Chief People Officer, Raphaël Awóṣéyìn as Chief Customer Officer, and hired Rachel Silton as Acquisition and Marketing Manager for the US.
