Overview
Qraft Technologies builds and operates deep learning-based algorithms that generate portfolio weight signals intended to be alpha-generative. The company has demonstrated its proprietary AI engine through NYSE-listed ETFs and offers a suite of B2B AI solutions spanning data processing, investment strategy discovery, order execution, and investment analysis & reporting. Its products include one of the leading AI-driven equity ETF platforms and Korea's largest robo-advisor engine provider. Qraft positions its technology as a way for financial institutions to run their own AI-powered public equity management. Following the transaction with SoftBank, Qraft plans to accelerate global expansion by hiring top talent and opening new offices in New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. The company is pursuing strategic projects with SoftBank to explore AI-enabled public portfolio management systems. Qraft Technologies is a Seoul-based fintech that uses artificial intelligence to create and manage exchange-traded funds (ETFs). It operates four AI-driven ETFs listed on the New York Stock Exchange (QRFT, AMOM, HDIV and NVQ), with QRFT and AMOM having outperformed the S&P 500 since inception. All ETFs are managed by deep-learning models that analyze markets and select monthly holdings, and the company also runs an AI-powered order execution system that outperforms the market's volume-weighted average price by more than two basis points. That execution system is used by about 80% of Korea's banks, and Qraft has roughly 20 profile partnerships including Mirae Asset, Samsung, top Korean banks and universities. The recent $9 million round will fund setting up a Hong Kong office, roughly 50% headcount growth, and marketing to elevate AI-based ETFs as the main business driver. The raise brings the company's total fundraising to over $18 million and values the company at roughly $150 million.
