Overview
Qsic provides an intelligent in-store audio platform that uses data and AI to remove friction from the planning process and elevate and measure the impact of audio. It helps retailers activate their Retail Media Networks by setting up, running and commercializing audio assets, from music curation and ad production to ad sales and price evaluation. The company powers in-store audio and retail media across fuel and convenience, grocery, liquor, hospitality, fashion and specialty retail and for QSRs such as 7-Eleven, Coles Express and McDonald’s. Qsic currently reaches more than 100 million shoppers at the point of purchase monthly, with more than 70,000 speakers set to deploy across North America over the next year. Led by CEO Matt Elsley and based in Dallas, TX, the company is focused on expanding distribution and product capabilities. It recently raised funding to accelerate product development and scale its commercial efforts. Qsic operates an intuitive commercial music and technology platform that combines commercial music streaming with intelligent in-store connectivity. The platform can automatically adjust volume levels speaker-by-speaker based on real-time traffic and conditions and allows users to curate content such as targeted ads as customers move through a space. Qsic says it is a leader in commercial music streaming and in-store customer ecosystems and currently reaches over 26 million unique visitors a month. Customers include national brands such as McDonald’s and 7-Eleven. The company was founded in Australia in 2012 by Matt Elsley and Nick Larkins and is now Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based. Qsic plans to use new funding to support rapid U.S. growth, including a national rollout of its smart in-store infrastructure and development of additional products for its platform.
