QuanDx develops molecular diagnostic equipment for clinical and research laboratories. Its first product line detects the presence of leukemia cells and returns test results in two to three hours. The company moved to the Bay Area last year to access new talent and accommodate growth. QuanDx was founded in 2010. Financially, it received $950,000 from 10 investors in the current round and previously closed a $300,000 investment in March. The company hopes to raise an additional $550,000 and could not be reached for comment on planned use of the funds.
