QuantiLight is a spin-off from the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research developing diagnostics that aim to bring testing into patients' homes. The company is based in Heidelberg and marked its first anniversary at the time of the announced Pre-Seed round. It participated in the Life Science Accelerator Baden-Württemberg and successfully applied to the Start-up BW Pre-Seed Program with guidance from Angelika Habecker. Technologiepark Heidelberg GmbH supported the team with infrastructure, network and mentorship. The startup secured €1.1M in Pre-Seed funding composed of public grants and program-backed support to advance its work on home diagnostics and patient care.
