Backers named in the raise include Bloomberg Beta, betaworks, Lightbank, Bhaskar Roy, Brian Shin, Culture & Code, Edge/HARRIS, Hsu Ken Ooi, Jeff Miller, Mike Greenfield, and Vijay Tella. The company has also reserved $100,000 for accredited backers to invest via a partnership with Alphaworks, a new fundraising platform.
