QuillBot provides an AI writing collaborator that rewrites full paragraphs and refines content using natural language understanding and paraphrasing technology. Founded in 2017 by three computer science students and led by CEO Rohan Gupta, the company leverages its user base to continually train and improve its algorithms. The platform reconstructs user content to improve clarity and intends to become an all-in-one writing collaborator by adding new intelligent capabilities. QuillBot plans to add a summarizer to extract the most relevant information from articles and sources, and to expand content generation that suggests ways to complete sentences based on user intent. The company will use the recent funding to expand operations, accelerate development efforts, and integrate these new features into the existing platform.
