Quilt.AI builds an AI-based human insights platform that blends traditional anthropology with AI to identify patterns in human behaviour. The platform indexes and clusters millions of conversations and expressions across public social, news, blog, institutional sources, and search engine trails. It dynamically reads each data point for stated and contextual information and draws connections between people, intent, thought and action at scale. The company plans to use the new funding to fast-track training models on more than 100 billion images, support over 200 languages, and improve video recognition. Quilt.AI was co-founded by Dr Angad Singh Chowdhry and Anurag Banerjee early last year and is based in Singapore. The statement also announced that Rishad Tobaccowala has joined the company’s board.
