QuintEvents is an event organizing firm that packages VIP ticket experiences for major sporting and entertainment events. The Charlotte-based company represents official ticket packages to more than 65 events around the world and serves as the official event experiences provider for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Founded in 2004 by Brian Learst and Ken Kurek in Learst’s basement, the company is led by Learst as CEO alongside partner Kurek. As of a March 2017 announcement the company had a 55-person workforce and planned to hire another 25–30 people to expand operations. A recent SEC filing shows QuintEvents raised $5.5 million in equity from a single investor. The filing did not disclose how the company intends to use the proceeds.
