Quomi is a Milan-based food tech startup that delivers meal kits to subscribers, featuring fresh, pre-dosed ingredients and recipes inspired by the Mediterranean diet. The company offers boxes with ingredients for meals including red meat, fish, vegetables and cereals. It intends to use the €600K raised in its second funding round to expand partnership deals, grow the team and increase sales and marketing efforts. Backers in the round included private investors; Quomi is also backed by listed incubator Digital Magics. Launched in January 2016, Quomi has served over 2,500 customers and delivered 45,000 boxes. Partners include brands such as Barilla, Perugina, Delicius and Caffè Vergnano.
