Overview
QuSecure develops a patented, software-only cryptographic-agility platform called QuProtect that overlays onto existing infrastructure to simplify migration to post-quantum and next-generation cryptographic standards. The company says its technology enables enterprise-scale orchestration of cryptography and provides multi-layer protection against classical, AI, and quantum threats. QuSecure's roster of customers includes the U.S. Army and Air Force, telecommunications and energy firms, leading financial institutions, and global cloud service providers. The company announced the close of additional funding to advance product development and accelerate go-to-market efforts. Management intends to use the investment to expand the customer base across government, financial, and critical infrastructure sectors. Rebecca Krauthamer, a QuSecure co-founder and former VP of Engineering and CPO, was named CEO to lead the company's expansion. QuSecure launched with QuProtect, an industry-first end-to-end, software-based post-quantum cryptography (PQC) orchestration platform that establishes a quantum secure channel and implements standardized PQC algorithms. QuProtect is delivered as cloud software to existing devices and infrastructure and combines zero-trust, next-generation encryption, quantum-strength keys, active monitoring, and attack remediation as a quantum security-as-a-service (QSaaS) architecture. The platform is designed to address both current classical attacks and future quantum-computing threats across the entire data lifecycle. QuSecure reports customer deployments in banking and finance, healthcare, space/satellite, IT/data enterprises, datacenters, and various Department of Defense agencies. The company is investor-backed, has offices in Silicon Valley, and says its seed financing was triple-oversubscribed; it has also garnered interest from A-list investors for future funding. Leadership includes CEO Dave Krauthamer, COO Skip Sanzeri, CTO Greg Bullard, Head of Federal Operations Pete Ford, and CPO Rebecca Krauthamer, supported by a listed advisory team of quantum and security experts.
