况客科技, founded in 2014, develops an integrated asset-allocation technology platform (Pharos) covering asset allocation, FOF, MOM and insurance solutions. Its Pharos system has been adopted by more than 60 leading domestic institutions, including the largest insurance company, sovereign funds, banks, endowments and family offices. The company says it expanded its traditional systems business into asset-management and data businesses and aims to benchmark top global asset managers such as Russell. Since 2017, its systems business revenue grew at a compound annual rate of about 80%; 2020 operating revenue reached several tens of millions of RMB. By the end of 2020 it had nearly 100 signed institutional clients and a client repurchase rate of around 90%. The firm also announced the establishment of a research and data-focused subsidiary, Xichou Financial Technology.
