R‑Zero develops hospital‑grade biosafety technologies, with a flagship product called Arc — a touchless, IoT‑enabled UV‑C disinfection device offered via a hardware‑as‑a‑service subscription. Arc includes BLE, LTE‑M and GPS connectivity to provide real‑time usage data and an auditable trail of disinfection activities. Independent lab tests show Arc destroys over 99.99% of pathogens (including human coronavirus, E. coli, MRSA and feline calicivirus) in a 1,000 sq ft space in under seven minutes. The company has seen rapid early traction across schools, more than one million square feet of office space, athletic facilities, restaurants, hotels and senior care. R‑Zero says the new capital will accelerate production and deployment of Arc and fund continued development of additional product innovations to establish a new standard for public health and safety. The company positions its lower‑cost, hospital‑grade offering as a democratizing alternative to incumbent hospital UV systems that are far more expensive and cumbersome to deploy.
