RackTop Systems develops BrickStor, a CyberConverged Network-Attached Storage (NAS) platform that fuses high-performance data storage with built-in security, encryption, access controls and compliance. The product is designed to protect sensitive data where it resides while simplifying management and scaling for enterprise and government customers. RackTop’s technology has been deployed worldwide to manage more than 50 petabytes of customer data across public sector, media, financial services, health care, higher education and life sciences. The company plans to use the Series A proceeds to accelerate near-term sales channel expansion and product development. RackTop was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Fulton, Md., with deep roots serving the DoD and U.S. intelligence community. BrickStor has received multiple industry awards highlighting its storage and security capabilities.
