Overview
Radical Catheter Technologies designs and commercializes a novel endovascular access and delivery platform built on a patented ribbon technology. Its first product, the 7F Radical Catheter, received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance and is cleared for neurovascular femoral and radial access. A multi-center retrospective analysis of 85 neuroendovascular procedures reported 100% catheterization of target vessels, intracranial reach in all anterior circulation treatments, no device failures or device-related adverse events, and elimination of intermediate catheters in most applicable cases. The company highlights benefits including greater flexibility, stability, durability, reduced procedural time, and potential cost and risk reductions. Co-founders Brian Martin and Martin Dieck have worked on neurosurgical technologies for three decades. Radical plans to scale operations, build a world-class manufacturing organization, expand the Radical platform, and leverage post-clearance clinical data as it commercializes the technology.
