Radio Runt's core product, Rallee, is a push-to-talk mobile application currently in public beta on Android and iOS that lets users log in via Facebook to join themed voice groups, create groups, and use voice, text and multilingual transcription. Key features include easy Facebook log-in and friend invites, visibility into which friends are online, geo-targeting to find nearby users, themed and random-match group functionality, and support for large-scale group conversations. The company announced a Nov. 28 launch of the app and says the platform can support conversations from one person up to one million people. Radio Runt disclosed a $1 million investment from international business leader Kenges Rakishev and intends to use the financing to further build out its platform. Management includes CEO Tony Bristol, a Microsoft veteran, and the company is positioning Rallee as the premier group-centric audio communications application for social and interest networks. Radio Runt plans expansion into other geographies worldwide, with Rakishev indicating intent to help introduce the app in Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS markets.
