Radius (formerly Fwix) provides a sales intelligence platform built on a comprehensive index of information on over 20 million small- and medium-sized businesses. It pulls data from across the web and social sources — including Twitter, Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, Localeze, Acxiom and CityGrid — and surfaces news, reviews, tweets and events in a dashboard for sales forces. The platform can feed leads and signals into Salesforce and Microsoft’s CRM to help teams track and act on opportunities. Radius serves marketers across industries such as business insurance, payment services, banking, credit cards and telecoms. The company reports it is bringing in real revenue and is serving 10 million sales professionals. Radius plans to use its new funding to expand its sales, engineering and product teams and to grow its SMB index.
