Range Biotechnologies, based in San Francisco, is developing tools to unlock translational proteomics and enable personalized health. Its core technology enables accurate quantification of multiple proteins across many samples simultaneously, providing insights into disease mechanisms and how they change over time. The team is building a technology platform to enable new modalities across multiple markets, including pharmacodynamics, diagnostic medicine, drug discovery, food safety, and liquid biopsy. The company was founded by former labmates Dr. Brandon Wilson and Dr. Nicolo Maganzini, together with Professor Tom Soh from Stanford University. Range intends to use the newly raised funds to advance its high-throughput multiplexed protein quantification work to enable precision health. It recently raised $5.2M in Seed funding led by Artis Ventures.
