rankingCoach provides cloud-based online marketing solutions focused on improving SEO listings for small and mid-size enterprises. The company was founded in 2014 as a spin-off and operates with an international team of over 60 specialists in Cologne (Germany) and Arad (Romania). It supports customers in 11 languages across 24 countries and markets its products directly, via agencies, and through partners such as hosting providers, telecommunications companies and publishers. The capital increase announced is aimed at driving technical product development, expanding services, and further internationalization. To date, rankingCoach has been mainly financed by the Swiss family office Wecken & Cie. As part of the transaction the company is set to become a technology partner of United Internet subsidiary 1&1 Internet.
