Its premier low-end FPGA product, Gemini, is a power-optimized programmable logic device aimed at massive sensor processing, tight thermal profiles, and small-form-factor embedded and edge applications. The company’s Raptor Design Suite is described as the world’s first commercial FPGA EDA suite based on end-to-end open-source software and reportedly outperformed leading EDA tools in the EPFL Combinational Benchmark Suite. Rapid Silicon plans to use the Series A proceeds to expand its product portfolio, support Gemini’s launch, and accelerate adoption of open-source software for commercial applications.
