Rasio Therapeutics is a joint venture formed with SilcsBio and the National Foundation for Cancer Research to develop novel small-molecule medicines using SilcsBio's computational drug-design platform. The company is initially focused on oncology and aims to design and develop therapeutics for areas of significant unmet medical need. Rasio has leveraged SilcsBio's protein mapping and virtual screening capabilities to identify promising leads rapidly and inexpensively. It has raised seed funding and initial support from the NFCR to begin program development. On December 2, 2021, Rasio announced a new $1.5 million financing led by Bluedot Bio to advance those leads and develop partnerships for drug development. The funding is intended to help the company reach key development milestones as it advances its oncology programs.
