Overview
Ratio.City offers a cloud-based urban analytics platform and API that uses artificial intelligence to organize data, detect patterns, and synthesize information for real estate decision-making. Its product includes mapping, visualization, and 3D analysis tools aimed at real estate developers, commercial brokerages, architects and urban planners. The company launched last summer and is currently incubated at Ryerson University's DMZ. Ratio.City raised $1 million in seed financing and plans to use the funds to build its sales team and broaden its dataset and geographic coverage. Founders Monika Jaroszonek and CTO Erin Morrow bring experience in mixed‑use development and 17 years of urban planning at Arup, respectively, which the company cites as strong founder–market fit. Ratio.City intends to expand into additional Canadian markets before entering the United States to attract larger developers and brokers seeking sites beyond Toronto.
