Ravical builds domain-trained AI agents—“virtual employees”—that combine domain expertise, firm know-how and client context to automate and scale up to 80% of professional services work. The company targets firms in tax, legal, accounting and insurance, aiming to productize repeatable expertise and free human experts to focus on higher-value strategic work. Co-founded and led by Joris Van Der Gucht, who sold accounting-automation company Silverfin for €320 million in 2023, Ravical has completed 10 pilot projects with firms of various sizes and industries. Ghent-based Ravical has secured €7.3 million in a Pre-Seed funding round led by Lakestar. The capital will be used to further develop the solution, expand the team, and fuel international expansion. Ravical positions its agentic AI as a response to talent shortages, preservation of firm knowledge, and the drive to scale packaged professional services.
