Overview

Raydiant is an AI-powered, in-location experience management platform for large brands in retail, e-commerce, restaurants and other sectors. Led by CEO Bobby Marhamat and based in San Francisco, the platform enables business and franchise managers as well as IT and communications executives to scale operations and create engaging, personalized in-store experiences. Raydiant works with nearly 4,500 brands across SMB to enterprise, including First Bank, Dickey’s BBQ, Harvard University, The Salvation Army, Red Bull, Chick-Fil-A, Thomson Reuters and Wahlburgers. The company raised $30M in a Series B round to fund growth. Raydiant intends to use the funds for strategic acquisitions and to hire key team members to execute a move up-market go-to-market strategy. Its product focus is on improving in-store engagement and personalization to keep customers coming back and buying more. Raydiant provides a cloud-based digital signage and experience platform that plugs into any HDMI-equipped TV to deliver messages, live video support, social feeds, and interactive kiosks. The company launched in 2017 and serves businesses from small cafes to global enterprises. More than 2,500 companies use Raydiant, and customers see an average revenue increase of 12%. Raydiant reported that in 2020 it more than tripled revenue and grew its customer base by 60%. Recent product offerings and partnerships include its ScreenRay device, a Kiosk interactive tool, a proprietary LTE solution powered by T-Mobile, a music-video partnership with XITE, Hoopla performance dashboards, and Microsoft SecondScreen. The pandemic accelerated adoption as retailers and restaurants used Raydiant to communicate safety protocols, hours, and takeout options. The company plans to use new capital to invest in product development and expand its go-to-market team to bridge offline and online experiences and increase productivity. Raydiant (formerly Mira) sells an HDMI device plus an online dashboard that lets customers turn TVs and other screens into interactive digital signs and manage content remotely. The product integrates with partners such as BlueJeans, Soundtrack Your Brand, SinglePlatform and PosterMyWall to provide videoconferencing, licensed music, digital menus and drag-and-drop content editing. Customers named in the article include Westin, Ramada, Harvard University and Wahlburgers. The company was founded by Tuan Ho alongside venture studio Atomic and has rebranded to Raydiant while appointing Bobby Marhamat as CEO. Raydiant announced it raised $7 million in new funding and said the capital will be used to develop new applications, sign more partners, grow the team and acquire additional customers.
