Reactive Technologies develops patented measurement solutions, a scalable cloud platform and high-resolution edge devices (branded GridMetrix®) that enable real-time measurement of grid inertia and a digital network twin for simulating operations. Its products target transmission system operators (TSOs), distribution network operators (DNOs) and other energy market participants to improve decision making, reduce risk and enable greater renewable integration. Reactive has a commercial partnership with National Grid ESO following innovation projects that validated GridMetrix’s ability to measure inertia directly. The company was added to Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight and has formed a strategic alliance with Accenture to co-innovate and access Accenture’s Innovation Hubs, Labs, Liquid Studios and Global 2000 clients. Through the partnership Reactive aims to operate on a global basis with local presence and accelerate go-to-market and commercial delivery. Terms of Accenture’s investment were not disclosed.
