Read builds meeting intelligence software that uses large language models and video analysis to create condensed, TikTok-style highlight reels and text summaries of recorded meetings. Its new feature trims hour-long meetings into two-minute clips and includes participant reactions and engagement analytics. The tool integrates with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex and provides sentiment and participant engagement scores. In January Read introduced a text-based summary feature powered by OpenAI’s GPT; the video highlight feature is presented as an evolution of that capability. During a preview period, some clients reported a more than 30% increase in employee productivity from automated note-taking and shared highlights. The company was co-founded in 2021 by former Foursquare CEO David Shim and has raised $10 million in seed funding.
