ReaGenics develops plant cell culture processes to produce a broad spectrum of cannabinoids and other high-value botanicals (saffron, coffee, peyote compounds, resveratrol, anthocyanins) as scalable, pesticide-free biomass or extracted ingredients. The company says its proprietary method yields commercially viable quantities of cannabinoids and is filing a patent on the process. ReaGenics has shifted from producing biomass in-house to a licensing model, supplying biology and genetics while partners build and operate production facilities under revenue-sharing or royalty arrangements. It highlights cost advantages versus controlled-environment agriculture (claiming about one-tenth the cost) and higher yields than precision-fermentation microbes, plus a 12-day production cycle. The team is pursuing partnerships with international food-industry equipment suppliers and a Colorado cannabinoid-oils manufacturer that has offtake agreements. ReaGenics is also engaging regulators (spoke with the FDA about GRAS pathways) and is scaling bioreactor capacity from 50L plastic to 400–1,000L stainless steel, targeting up to 2,000L.
