Realbox Data Analytics builds BI and predictive-analysis tools for offline businesses, with a flagship product called Pulse that delivers real-time business summaries and key performance metrics to mobile devices. Pulse can be installed on top of existing POS systems, is remotely installable, and requires no third-party hardware or software support. The company plans to develop a "smart store" concept to holistically support business growth and aims to roll it out to 5,000 outlets — including movie theaters, retail, and hospitality — within 18 months. Realbox says it already serves large corporate clients. The startup was founded in April 2015 by Saurabh Moody, Arjun Sudhanshu, and Preksha Kaparwan, whose backgrounds include Microsoft, Target/USPS, Saas Info Labs/TCS, and hospitality education. The new capital will be used primarily to develop the smart store concept.
