Overview
RealView Imaging, based in Yokneam, Israel, develops holography-guided intervention systems and introduced the HOLOSCOPE™-i. The HOLOSCOPE™-i creates 3D volumetric holograms from medical imaging data and enables physicians to view and directly interact with hyper-realistic 3D holograms of a patient’s actual anatomy that float in free space during interventional procedures. Its advanced 3D interactive visualization tools are designed to empower imaging-based minimally-invasive medical interventions, a rapidly growing field in medicine. Alongside development of its core holographic technology, the company has generated an IP portfolio with 35 patents filed and 21 granted. In 2019 RealView launched its first commercial installation of the HOLOSCOPE™-i at Toronto General Hospital. The company was founded by Aviad Kaufman, Shaul Gelman and Prof. Carmel Rotschild and previously received a seed investment led by Dr. Shimon Eckhouse. Recent governance additions include Dr. Kobi Richter and Prof. Michael Eldar joining the board.
