Recommerce Solutions is a French company that designs and operates white‑label websites for the repurchase of used mobile phones and tablets for brands including Bouygues Telecom, Virgin Mobile, PriceMinister and NRJ Mobile. For its partners in Europe—mainly telecom carriers, MVNOs, distributors, manufacturers and e‑merchants—the company buys back electronic products and provides the platforms customers use to sell devices. Customers access the service via websites and in more than 5,000 sales outlets to receive a voucher or immediate cash payment. The company combines technology and sustainable services around device repurchase and remarketing. It intends to use the €7.1M of new capital for international expansion and technology development. Recommerce was co‑founded in 2009 by Pierre‑Etienne Roinat, Benoît Varin, Cédric Maucourt and Antoine Jeanjan.
