RecoveryLink builds an online suite of tools for people in recovery from substance use, mental health issues, disordered eating, trauma and related conditions, offering services for individuals, employers and providers such as goal setting, peer-to-peer counseling management and data collection. The platform supports recovery meetings, digital recovery yoga and meditations, and the company says it has provided services to more than 800,000 people and supports 1,400 peer specialists at over 150 organizations. RecoveryLink launched in 2019 and has deployed statewide recovery support hotlines in New Hampshire and Texas for people affected by COVID-19 and other disasters. Financially, the company has raised $550,000 overall from local investors, including an investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners in July, and had been bootstrapped until that point; it has not yet completed a formal seed round. The company says access to subject-matter experts and Penn’s research and operations support through the Fund for Health will help accelerate growth and serve more people faster. RecoveryLink targets populations affected by social determinants of health and aims to expand impact through partnerships with healthcare and community organizations.
