Recovr develops rehabilitation tools and virtual therapy games designed by therapists to increase patient engagement and improve outcomes. Its Recovr Rehabilitation System began as a research project at Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina and is FDA-cleared. The platform is marketed to occupational and physical therapists in skilled nursing facilities and provides detailed reporting to track recovery progress. Recovr is developing a Telerehabilitation Platform to enable home-based rehabilitation that aims to enhance outcomes and reduce costs. The company was accepted into SCRA’s SC Launch program in 2014 and previously received two grants. The recent investment will be used to grow sales and further develop the telerehabilitation offering.
