The platform uses AI and automation to process documents and applications for employment permits and visas, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. It is primed to help reduce labour shortages in construction, engineering, hospitality, and healthcare. Founded in April 2022 by Shane Kiernan and Stephen MacCarthy and based in Dublin, the company has attracted support from Enterprise Ireland. Recruitroo recently secured a €1 million investment round led by Delta Partners and including Enterprise Ireland and angel investors. The board has added Andreea Wade as chair; her Opening.io was acquired by ICIMS in 2020 and she is currently VP of Product Strategy at ICIMS.
