Red.Health (formerly StanPlus) operates ambulance and emergency-response services across multiple verticals including RED Ambulances, RED Assist, RED Priority Clinics and RED Academy following a 2023 rebrand and pivot. The company offers plug-and-play medical response integrations for hospitals, health apps and wearables and says it partners with more than 500 hospitals and operates with over 100 hospitals in 20 cities. It has expanded offerings to include air ambulance services in more than 500 cities and aims to grow to 40–50 cities. Red.Health plans to use new funding to enhance its dispatch system and further develop its product. The company reported revenue of Rs 100 crore in FY24 and aims to double revenue in FY25; its Indian subsidiary’s revenue rose 45% to Rs 67 crore in FY23 from Rs 46.13 crore in FY22. Reports indicate the startup has faced growth challenges and has had difficulty paying employee salaries; losses rose to Rs 31.74 crore over the reported period. StanPlus operates a fleet of Red Ambulances that can be booked online or by phone and provides plug-and-play medical-response capabilities to large hospitals, health apps and wearable operators. The company aims to cut ambulance expected time of arrival from 15 minutes to 8 minutes under its “First Minute, Last Mile” approach. It plans to scale operations to 500 hospitals and expand its Red Ambulance brand from five cities to 15 cities. Last year the company announced a plan to add 3,000 advanced life support ambulances across 30 cities over three years with a cumulative investment of roughly Rs 900 crore. StanPlus is headquartered in Hyderabad and was founded in 2016. Financially, the company has raised multiple rounds including a $20 million Series A in the latest financing and prior seed and angel rounds totaling $2.6 million. StanPlus operates medical-transportation services with a fleet of over 300 ambulances and more than 60 ambulance operators, handling an average of 60+ calls a day and serving 15 hospitals with over 2,000 beds. The company offers ambulance and advanced-life-support transport and plans to broaden coverage across all medical-transportation categories. StanPlus intends to expand its advanced-life-support fleet and scale geographically. It also plans to invest in cutting-edge technologies to improve service delivery. The company recently completed seed fundraising to support these growth and product plans.
